- If the form is on the Internet, follow the instructions in the section below, entitled Internet Explorer 7, 6.x.
- If are trying to display response data email attachment or
trying to preview a form in FormArtist, follow the following
steps:
- In the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options...".
- Click on the "Advanced" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Security" section.
- Select the option marked "Allow active content to run in
files on my computer".
- Click on "OK".
- Restart the browser.

Internet Explorer 7, 6.x, 5.x or 4.x (Windows)

- In the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options...".
- Click on the "Security" tab.
- From the list of zones at the top of the Security options
select the Internet icon.
- Select the button near the bottom that reads "Custom Level".
- In the new window that pops up, scroll down to the item that
reads "Active Scripting".
- Select the option marked "Enable".
- Click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the Security Settings window.
- Click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the Internet Options window.

Netscape 7.x (Windows
or Mac):

- Select the "Edit" menu.
- Click "Preferences ..." to open the Preferences dialog box.
- In the Category list, click the triangle next to "Advanced" so
that it points downwards.
- In the list of items beneath Advanced, click "Scripts & Plug-ins".
- To the right of the list, beneath Enable JavaScript for, click
"Navigator" to add a tick.
- Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box.

Internet Explorer 5.x
(Mac)

- Select the "Edit" menu.
- Click "Preferences ..." to open the Preferences dialog box.
- In the scrolling list, click the triangle next to Web Browser
so that it points downwards and you can see the bulleted items
beneath it.
- Click Security Zones.
- In the Zone pop-up menu, select Internet Zone.
- Select "Custom (for expert users)".
- Click the "Settings..." button to open the Internet zone
dialog box.
- Scroll down so that "Scripting" is visible, and select Enable
from the pop-up menu for "Execute Scripts".
- Click "OK" to close the Internet zone dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Internet Explorer Preferences dialog
box.

Netscape 6.x or 4.x
(Windows or Mac)

- Select the "Preferences..." menu item in the "Edit" menu.
- Click on the "Advanced" label displayed in the list of options
on the left hand side of the Preferences window that pops up.
- On the right hand side select the checkbox marked "Enable
Javascript for Navigator".
- Click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the Preferences window.
